This has turned out to be a serious problem for the Federal Grant funding program as many remain in school itself receiving the Grant checks as they continue their studies on a part time basis. The budget kept aside to improve the economy backfires as the students who got the money have never contributed to the society in any way.

Now, many states have changed the rules and students need to qualify for it and is also time bound. After the time, the financial assistance is cut off.
